Life lessons:
We all have lessons to learn. The things that are so difficult for us are only lessons we have chosen for ourselves. If things are easy for us, then they are not lessons but are things we already know." -Louise Hay
I believe prior to entering this lifetime we have a contract of life lessons mapped out for us. I believe good and bad all have a rhyme or reason.
I have this vision of us, our soul, Mother Mary, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and several angels sitting at a table as if it were a typical friday
morning meeting at the work place. And the "plan" which will eventually become your life, once it has been mutually agreed upon, will eventually be "you" a living, loving, laughing being.
Then there is the anticipation of waiting for your number to be called. And "bingo!" *poof* you are sliding down the canal, through the clouds, into the light, into a body, a new world, with some old, but definitely new lessons to experience, grow, and learn from. A set of maybe, unexpected talents and gifts. A whole new world. A whole new fresh start, a new life path.
A life full of surprises and just the unknown gives me scary and exciting feelings all at once !
New life lessons.
Makes me think of a time before when i just could not understand why a situation was so difficult and I couldn't imagine how I was going to get through this" a popular thought I have recited a few times "why me God?" Also comes to mind. .. But now I look back and realize I actually got through it all. I succeeded! Even after all the thoughts and anxiety of how difficult it seemed at the time. Replaying it in my mind over and over. Like a broken record. Most times you can look back, knowing in your heart and seeing that you grew from it. You may even look back and say, "that wasn't as bad as I thought it was at the time!"
And then there are those stubborn life lessons we still haven't mastered. I believe we will get to them, and if not they will be brought to the table (the meeting, next life time) if we don't learn from them.
Life lessons are sort of a bitter but sweet fruit.
We all have been there, whether it be taking on a new position at work, learning something new, breaking off an unhealthy relationship or learning something new.
At first, it feels difficult because it is a shift from the norm, or maybe because it is an unexpected change. Most times these things promote growth.
You have to have faith and know things are in line with the universe. The way they were meant to be. We may not understand the reason at the time, but they are all happening for a reason. Know it is divine timing.
A simple way of looking at it is by remembering back, as a little itsy bitsy...crawling around. What if you chose not to take a chance and attempt to take a step to walk? Resisting because what your doing is working, and out of fear you chose not to take a chance, you won't attempt to stand or take a step. And maybe because you saw another fall and get hurt and even cry. You may even have tried it and fell and hurt yourself. So out of fear, you avoid. why change things? "I mean, you can crawl over there to get the toy, so your fine, right? Where do you think you would be now if you never took the chance to change and those first steps and fall a few times?
Change could seem difficult, but know this...
once you make a choice, because it is a choice or decide to take on life's lessons with acceptance, love and light then you will truly understand that "The key to happiness is accepting what is"
Which is a qoute my fvorite professor in college, Randy Fujishin once shared with me, and it has stuck to my mind, body, and soul... so I now I put it on my business cards.
Sending love & light,
